Eurovision : "Non-political, strictly neutral, doesn't matter if you're good or brutal."

Eurovision Theme Song 2025 : "Non-political, strictly neutral, doesn't matter if you're good or brutal."
Right. In this line, the indeed acknowledge that some of the States being represented in the contest are indeed brutal. And that that does not matter.
The writers outed the competition, thinking they were protecting the conception.
We all know who they are referring to as brutal, States represented in the completion, and certain States banned from the competition. The whiff of hypocrisy is pungent. Every state engaged in warfare ought to be excluded from such a peace bringing song contest.
War does not bring peace.
War does not bring peace, we know this : not in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Congo, Sudan, Kashmir or Palestine. The end of World War II did not bring peace to Congo, Vietnam, Korea, it did not bring peace to South Africa, Cuba, South America. War never brings peace. Peace is so much more than mere ceasefires. Peace is the dismantling of militarism, the redirection of our efforts towards healthy relationships at all levels of society, the adoption of the duty of care to avoid all known avoidable harms as the core of a healthy society.
Supporting one side in a war, arming one side or both in a war does not bring peace. Paying for those arms trades through Swiss bank accounts does not bring peace.
I do not know who wrote the lyrics or the music. Their video does not list any credits.
If I was either, the lyricist or the music writer/arranger I would not want anyone to know I had any part in it. And I would not want a single cent of the royalties. Blood money. I am a song writer and producer. Largely unknown and unremarkable. I do know my craft, and its purpose as a folk roots musician.

Lead commercial sponsorship for the Eurovision is an Israeli luxury hair and beauty product manufacturer, by the name of Moroccan Oil.

Moroccan Oil is made from the nut of the Argan Tree, which previously was only grown in Morocco, where for centuries it has been tended, harvested and processed by women's collectives.

There is a mythical story which tells us that the nut was traditionally fed to goats, and the post goat nut was then processed, using a complex process, to create the Argan Oil. It is a myth, a fabrication.

One manifestation of the world’s increased interest in argan oil is the development of a kind of mythology surrounding goats climbing into argan trees to harvest the fruit.

You’ve probably seen photos of this elsewhere, and there is some truth to the matter.

Goats are fans of argan fruit—and the leaves and any other food they can find. Left to their own devices, they’ll eat whatever is on the ground. When that’s gone, they’ll happily climb into the trees to find more, bounding out onto branches that bend under their weight.

The popular myth has it that oil producers rely on the goats to “process” the fruit through their digestive tracts and that nuts collected from goat manure are easier to open.

While it’s true that gathered nuts are indeed used in production, most argan oil is produced from fruit that matures and falls from the tree on its own.

In fact, goat herders and orchard guards work hard at keeping the goats away from trees with unripened fruit to ensure they don’t consume future harvests before they’re ready.

Morocco, long proud of this unique Beauty Oil, had a ban on exporting the tree, to protect their indigenous production. An understandable precaution.

Some years ago, in 2003 we are told, some clever Israeli's took cuttings, tress and nuts from Morocco, breaking Moroccan Law, and they created hybrids which are now grown on stolen Palestinian land, processed there and sold as Moroccan Oil. Colonial beauty.

I have to admit I have long disliked the Eurovision Song Contest, on artistic grounds, as a folk musician also rooted in electronic dance music and underground arts over a 35 year 'career'. I am wholly opposed to music being used and weaponised as a political propaganda tool and a wealth extraction practice.

Music, folk music in particular, must serve the needs of the people, must tell our stories, our trails and tribulations, our struggles, our loves, our kindnesses and our shared humanity.

Music can and is used for many purposes: weddings, funerals, community celebrations, for joy and for grief, and importantly, folk music has a rile to play in building humane solidarity so as to inspire and fire up the natural urge to make peace through challenging oppression, confronting the violent, dismantling their status.

It cannot do so when harnessed to political warfaring states and their objectives.

'Get off your Land' (see below) is a song of mine, about the Palestinian struggle, citing the long history of Zionism as a weapon of the British Empire that replicates the Plantation of Northern Ireland by the British in the 1600s, with the same patterns emerging of a population which holds an internalised religious identity that also includes a sense of entitlement to colonised lands, an identity passed from one generation to the next, exploited by the colonial overlords, weaponising people, parents and children, with rabid justifications for extremes of violence, for centuries. In the song I note the deployment of British Government irregular combat units, known as The Black and Tans, tasked with the oppression of civilians in reprisal for resistance to the colonial domination, from Ireland to Palestine, in 1922.

Geopolitical long term strategy.

Being Irish, and well read, I have a different understanding of this aspect of history than most British people I have met, in my 45v years of living in London, the majority of whom appear to be timidly yet proudly unwilling to admit the horrors of their own ruling class, let alone be energised to hold the English Ruling Class accountable.

I wrote this song 'Get Off Your Land' in 2020, produced this version in 2021, and am appalled to see its predictions so horrendously fulfilled. I am disgusted at the British and American and German State Governments enabling of a genocide, standing as staunch duplicitous allies in the international domain, arming Israel for commercial gain. I am similarly nauseated by their deliberate fuelling of war in Ukraine. Russia's invasion is odious, illegal and amoral, that is clear. And yet the slaughter on the fields of South Eastern Ukraine is not entirely the responsibility of the Russians. World War One demonstrated the odious practice of throwing fresh troops to a well defended frontline, to murder and ben murdered in their hundreds of thousands. I fail to see the benefits to Ukrainian civil society in such wholesale slaughter.

Mitch McConnell's honesty regards the benefits of the Ukraine War is instructive.

The Civil War that plagued the Donbas for 8 years prior was egged on by outsiders, as a means of 'weakening Russia'. Some spoke of making this 'Russia's second Afghnaistan'. Rather than de-escalate, the USUK have exacerbated that shituation, leading to today, where estimates suggest a million have murdered each other, most gruesomely, egged on by US, UK and Germany, whose arms industry dividends are bloated with tax payers cash.

All in all, the competing warring states dynamic and its patriarchy, who curate racism, misogyny, xenophobia and many other forms of bigotry in order to weaponise ordinary people against each other, is a pox upon humanity. It does matter of you are good or brutal. It matters very much.

Our children's futures are on the line. It does matter of you're good or brutal. Genuine neutrality is a stance of non-violent resistance to violence, a direct confrontation with the bullies, with the intent to hold the bullies accountable, as part of the process of making a genuine long term peace that leads to entire populations being nurtured rather than exploited.

We must build solidarity strong enough to hold the war makers accountable, all of them, no matter which state they represent.

We have The Law, and we have the numbers. So what next?

The International Court of Justice, at The Hague, is the senior international court of justice in the domain of the law governing inter state relationships.

Laws designed to laws to force states to de-escalate military violence, laws that establish the right of protection afforded to all ordinary civil populations from warfare and their infrastructure from destruction, wherever they are, irrespective of who or what is perpetrating the violence, laws that are designed to prevent Genocide, and in the event of ailing to prevent, to hold accountable and punish perpetrators of Genocide.

Great ideas, not yet fully realised.

The International Court of Justice, at The Hague, has issued an advisory to the United Nations General Assembly, which asked the question the panel of judges was now answering.

What is the legal position of the Israeli Occupation of Palestinian Lands?

The Court mused and cogitated upon the evidence of the illegality of the occupation itself, the illegality of the militarised oppression of an entire people, the illegality of apartheid infrastructure and legislation, the illegality of the settlements, the legality of self of determination, as a peoples fundamental right on their own lands.

The Court finding is that on the available, reliable evidence the case is clear - the State of Israel is in breach of numerous laws of war and humanitarian law (and has been for some time, including an ongoing Genocidal Militarised assault upon a defenceless civilian Palestinian population across Gaza).

The Law as it stands calls for an immediate end to all Israeli Military action within the Occupied Palestinian Borders, it must withdraw and it must the Occupation, and it must divest the settlements.

The compels ratifying States to take State level action to enforce this ruling.

Zionist Israeli action since 1967 in this colonial project that inspired brutal ethnic cleansing and sanitised settlement, as a weapon, is criminal, it is an International Crime, committed by a State, absolutely illegal criminal activity and now that State stands, as ordered by the court, to immediately cease, desist its aggressions, it must retreat to within Israel, and be prepared to face accountability and commit to substantive reparations.

All they are saying is “Uphold The Law.”

Uphold the Law. In full.

Quite simple, really.

Not complicated.

Every country that has ratified the International Court of Justice, must abide by its decisions, which are legally binding in International Law and customary law.

The complicating aspect to all this, the things that make it difficult to uphold the Law is the power of the Law Breakers and their State allies to impede accountability, in spite of evident culpability.

Every elected legislator in every country that has ratified the International Court of Justice, is now empowered by International Law to force the extent Government to take direct and immediate action to fulfil the mandate of the Court. Mandated to oppose, impede, penalise and thus cease all material and diplomatic aid to the State of Israel, as long as its actions continue to be in breach of International Law.

I wonder if it could happen that billions of people watch this, in the next week or so, and we, the ordinary majority of Humanity watch and hear and understand what is being said, what it really means. And what it means for every war zone that is currently in motion. So many childandren, every single precious one of them is 100% innocent.
In the way I see feel life I think that every adult alive owes a responsibility to all the children, I think that this is non negotiable biological and empathic and moral and egalitarian humane evolutionary mandate, and it is not a burden, it is a gift. The gift is love, integrity and nurture. To be intentionally engaged in the way is a gift.
The technical catch all word for this Alloparenting, in every day language we would say it is shared parenting. In practice this was, for most of our evolution, the norm across any given population. Is is our oldest evolved behavioural characteristic that makes us behaviourally distinct from Primates, and every biologically healthy person would be happy to meet that duty, and succeed. It is how we thrived for most of our existence.

Education

Continuous Traumatic Distress - 24/7, minute by minute, second by agonising second.

In Gaza, there are no schools functioning, none left standing, there are no universities left standing. All intentionally and systematically targeted, bombed, destroyed. Erased. And all those students who would have been attending these schools and universities had younger brothers and sisters not yet in education.

The adverse changes that that unspeakable lived experience of constant state of warfare, imposed by a State bent on a genocidal campaign, the trauma it will inflict upon the babies, infants, toddlers, children, teens their mothers and fathers (who have no means to protect them) on their bodies and minds, on their endocrinology, lungs, heart, digestive system, lymph systems, sleeping patterns, eating patterns, resting patterns and their very essence is a grievous , grievous wound, invisible to the eye, until the symptoms present.

We and they must form up a political lobby on behalf of all our children, a put a stop to this.

Education.

The university of witnessing a Genocidal war in real time is not part of the University of Life. It is the university of desolation, the college of death, maiming and survival. Nobody thrives in this place. Survivors are the only ones who graduate. The makers of the bombs, the designers, the testers, the production line managers graduated from American, British and Israeli Universities.

Part of what happening is that we the people, the civilian tax paying, voting populations of the allies of Israel, the citizens of USUK EU and others are being educated by witness testimony and reliable empirical evidence. And we are asking questions, learning more. What is this? Why is this? We are learning every day.

The object of such an unwilled for education must lead to the emergence of a motivation to confront the truth about our Ruling Class and to act on what we find to make it the harm causation is ceased.

Peace

'Peace is more than the absence of War' as Arundhuti Roy puts it.

She was and will always be correct in that axiom. We cry out on the face of injustice - "no justice, no peace!' and it is not a threat, it is not a call to riot - it is a statement for fact. Where injustice is done, peace is absent.

"There can be no real peace without justice. And without resistance, there will be no justice," writes Arundhati Roy. We have a duty to respond to the unmet needs of all our children, to meet those needs, to prevent those needs from harm.

'All is born of woman, no harm shall come to the children.'

This is the oldest 'law' of the human species. Our basic biological mandate. Remember that? I mentioned it earlier. Alloparenting - it bears repeating. This Law is not a burden, this law the art of is living designed to set us free.

That will take all of us ordinary people becoming politically active. Not as an ideology based lobby. As a humane evidence based lobby, the biggest, strongest political lobby on Earth. Love in action.

It is what we need.

The revolution is dependent upon an educational liberation, and some counselling along the way, and I think this is absolutely essential and that we must make it happen at pace.

Emotional Blindness.

I think the evidence is there to suggest that following is likely true

If a person as a witness to these two documentaries and their meanings cannot hold all of that evidence in place, and admit it, then there has to be some profound emotional blindness that is disrupting their capacity for analytical thinking, empathy, kindness - they have to be internalising a belief system that has changed the way their brains function, they way their minds behave, robbing them of the most important aspect of being a healthy human. Belief can do that. Blind ideology can do that. Unresolved trauma can do that. Indoctrination can do that.

Beyond that simple analysis, it is abundantly clear that the major crimes of State and non State militia must cease, and then they must be accounted for, all of them , and in full - no matter where that leads.

The Iron Wall - in 1923 leading Zionist Ze'ev Jabotinsky wrote about the impossibility of a Two State Solution, because he understood the nature of colonialism.

February 2025, the Israeli Military Operation against the West Bank Palestinians

is named 'Operation Iron Wall'.

Approximately 30,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced, their homes and civil infrastructure destroyed.

The Iron Wall is an essay written by Ze'ev Jabotinsky in 1923. It was originally published in Russian, as he was born in Russia as Vladimir Yevgenyevich Zhabotinsky and wrote for the Russian press.^[1]

Written in 1923, by Ze'ev Jacobintsky, in the same year as The Beer Hall Putsch, also known as the Munich Putsch, which was a failed coup d'état by Nazi Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP) leader Adolf Hitler, Generalquartiermeister Erich Ludendorff and other Kampfbund leaders in Munich, Bavaria, on 8–9 November 1923, during the Weimar Republic.

He wrote the essay after the British Colonial Secretary Winston Churchill prohibited Zionist settlement on the east bank of the Jordan River, and formed the Zionist Revisionist party after writing it.^[2]

Jabotinsky argued that the Palestinian Arabs would not agree to a Jewish majority in Palestine, and that "Zionist colonisation must either stop, or else proceed regardless of the native population. Which means that it can proceed and develop only under the protection of a power that is independent of the native population – behind an iron wall, which the native population cannot breach."^[1] The only solution to achieve peace and a Jewish state in the Land of Israel, he argued, would be for Jews to first establish a strong Jewish state, which would eventually prompt the Arabs to "drop their extremist leaders, whose watchword is ‘never!’ and pass the leadership to the moderate groups, who will approach us with a proposal that we should both agree to mutual concessions."

A week following the publication of this essay, Jabotinsky followed with "The Ethics of the Iron Wall," in which he argued that morality comes before everything else, and that Zionism is "moral and just," since it subscribes to "national self-determination" as a "sacred principle," which Arabs may also enjoy

Agreement with Arabs Impossible at present

Zionism Must Go Forward

"It is an excellent rule to begin an article with the most important point. But this time, I find it necessary to begin with an introduction, and, moreover, with a personal introduction.

I am reputed to be an enemy of the Arabs, who wants to have them ejected from Palestine, and so forth. It is not true.

Emotionally, my attitude to the Arabs is the same as to all other nations – polite indifference.

Politically, my attitude is determined by two principles.

First of all, I consider it utterly impossible to eject the Arabs from Palestine. There will always be two nations in Palestine – which is good enough for me, provided the Jews become the majority.

And secondly, I belong to the group that once drew up the Helsingfors Programme, the programme of national rights for all nationalities living in the same State.

In drawing up that programme, we had in mind not only the Jews , but all nations everywhere, and its basis is equality of rights.

I am prepared to take an oath binding ourselves and our descendants that we shall never do anything contrary to the principle of equal rights, and that we shall never try to eject anyone.

This seems to me a fairly peaceful credo.

But it is quite another question whether it is always possible to realise a peaceful aim by peaceful means.

For the answer to this question does not depend on our attitude to the Arabs; but entirely on the attitude of the Arabs to us and to Zionism."

In this last paragraph in this section Jacobintsky lays all the responsibility for any difficulties the Zionists might face squarely upon the Palestinian people and their resistance to being colonised. The Zionists are innocent.

He then states the following.

Voluntary Agreement Not Possible

"Voluntary Agreement Not Possible.

There can be no voluntary agreement between ourselves and the Palestine Arabs.

Not now, nor in the prospective future. I say this with such conviction, not because I want to hurt the moderate Zionists.

I do not believe that they will be hurt. Except for those who were born blind, they realised long ago that it is utterly impossible to obtain the voluntary consent of the Palestine Arabs for converting "Palestine" from an Arab country into a country with a Jewish majority.

My readers have a general idea of the history of colonisation in other countries.

I suggest that they consider all the precedents with which they are acquainted, and see whether there is one solitary instance of any colonisation being carried on with the consent of the native population. There is no such precedent.

The native populations, civilised or uncivilised, have always stubbornly resisted the colonists, irrespective of whether they were civilised or savage."

Jabotinsky admits that Colonialism always generates a fierce resistance amongst the people who lands are to colonised. We all know that Colonialism is inherently an evil process, a cruel and bloody one.

As he processes into this essay he makes it quite clear what the true stance of Zionism is, all the time seeking to absolve the Zionist project of any culpability.

The phrase 'the most moral army in the world' is drawn from this essay. Read on to see it’s roots, and the soil in which that false flag is planted.

Colonisation.

"It does not matter at all which phraseology we employ in explaining our colonising aims, Herzl's or Sir Herbert Samuel's.

Colonisation carries its own explanation, the only possible explanation, unalterable and as clear as daylight to every ordinary Jew and every ordinary Arab.

Colonisation can have only one aim, and Palestine Arabs cannot accept this aim. It lies in the very nature of things, and in this particular regard nature cannot be changed.

The Iron Wall

We cannot offer any adequate compensation to the Palestinian Arabs in return for Palestine. And therefore, there is no likelihood of any voluntary agreement being reached. So that all those who regard such an agreement as a condition sine qua non for Zionism may as well say "non" and withdraw from Zionism."

Two State Solution as a strategic weapon of hopeless hope.

The Two State solution was always dead in the water. It was never at the centre of Zionist aspirations, from the get-go, and the aspirations of the Two State Solution promoted to Western Audiences was always a strategic tactic, designed to enable the colonisation to move ahead, protected by Hope. The Hope of The Western audiences.

Zionists, and importantly, the Ruling Class in the West fully understood this strategic tactic and played along, delaying the necessary awakening amongst the western electorates, to buy the Zionists time to 'change the facts on the ground' through mass immigration of Jewish people, and settlement, and then by conquest and occupation, and now by total destruction of Palestinian civil and social and economic and political infrastructure.

The Iron Wall

"Zionist colonisation must either stop, or else proceed regardless of the native population.

Empty rhetoric of this kind is dangerous. And that is why it is not only a pleasure but a duty to discredit it and to demonstrate that it is both fantastic and dishonest.”

Zionism Moral and Just

This then lays out the coffin of Palestinian self determination, the sarcophagus of their human rights, the entombment of their land tenure and polity, the grave that is the erasure of their culture and their peoples from those lands, and ultimately the denial of their natural right to live peacefully on the land they have lived on for thousands of years, long before the advent os Judaism, Christianity or Islam.

The question then becomes how many nails must be used to ensure that the coffin lid is firmly shut, and cannot be re-opened.

The assault on Gaza is one of those nails.

The settlements across the West Bank are another bag of nails.

USUK unconditional support for their pet colonial project is another. That support is strategic in that it is designed to enrage, divide and destabilise the entire Arab polity.

The lack of detailed understanding of the history, the genesis of the so-called Israel -Palestine 'conflict' amongst the voters of the Western Christian Colonial States is another nail.

My task here is to describe those nails, to describe the hammer striking those nails.

The hammer is the collective Euro-Centric commercial interests, operating under the false flag of race superiority. Blair's odious 'clash of civilisations' articulated this in blatant terms, albeit misunderstood by Western audiences, as intended.

Our task as a democratic peace loving population is to ensure our Governments do not facilitate the hammer, that the nails already hammered in are removed, gently and with care, such that the Zionists (and all colonialists and Neo-colonialists) are isolated from our collective legislatures where they wield undue influence and that they are eventually placed where they cannot harm the Palestinian people or any other people, for that matter.
