Alice Miller in her book 'The Roots of Violence in child rearing : for your own good' laid out a clear warning that the kinds of misogynistic, racist, xenophobic politics we are seeing emerge would be inevitable, if society did not confront the way trauma impacts parenting.

Humiliations, blows, slaps, deception, sexual exploitation, mockery, neglect, etc. are forms of abuse because they harm a child’s integrity and dignity, even if the effects are not immediately visible. It is in adulthood that the child who was once abused will begin to suffer from it and make others suffer. This is not just a family problem, but a problem for all of society because the victims of this dynamic of violence, transformed into perpetrators, take revenge on entire nations, as shown by the increasingly frequent genocides under atrocious dictatorships like that of Hitler. Beaten children learn violence very early on, which they will use as adults while believing what they were told: that they deserved the punishments and were beaten “out of love.” They don’t know that, in reality, the only reason for the punishments they endured was due to the fact that their parents suffered and learned violence very early on without questioning it. In their turn, they hit their children without thinking they are doing them harm.

This is how society’s ignorance remains so strong and how parents, in good faith, continue to produce harm in each generation for millennia. Almost all children are hit when they start walking and touching objects that shouldn’t be touched. This happens exactly at the age when the human brain is structuring itself (between 0 and 3 years). At that point, the child should learn kindness and love from their role models, but never, under any circumstances, violence and lies (such as: “I hit you for your own good and out of love”). Fortunately, there are some abused children who receive love and protection from “caring witnesses” in their surroundings.

"I describe pictures of people, use histories of them as mirrors. And then many come and say, `This is exactly what I felt all my life but couldn't say.' I don't want to be a guru. I don't want people to believe me. I only encourage them to take their own experience seriously."

Alice Miller's stories portray abused and silenced children who later become destructive to themselves and to others. Adolf Hitler, says Miller, was such a child. Constantly mistreated by his father, emotionally abandoned by his mother, he learned only cruelty; he learned to be obedient and to accept daily punishments with unquestioning compliance. After years, he took revenge. As an adult he once said, "It gives us a very special, secret pleasure to see how unaware people are of what is really happening to them."

Miller, famed throughout Europe, wrote of Hitler's childhood in For Your Own Good: Hidden Cruelty in Child-Rearing and The Roots of Violence. In the same work she lets Christiane F. tell her own story: "I had trouble telling the letters H and Kapart One evening my mother was taking great pains to explain the difference to me. I could scarcely pay attention to what she was saying because I noticed my father getting more and more furious. I always knew what was going to happen. He went out and got the hand broom and gave me a trouncing. Now I was supposed to tell the difference between H, and K. Of course by that time I didn't know anything anymore, so I got another licking and was sent to bed." Christiane went into the street and became a drug addict.

"We do not need books about psychology in order to learn to respect our children," Miller says. "What we need is a total revision of the methods of child rearing and our traditional view about it.

The way we were treated as small children is the way we treat ourselves the rest of our lives: with cruelty or with tenderness and protection. We often impose our most agonizing suffering upon ourselves and, later, on our children."

Indoctrination is a weapon


Zionism's secret weapon is indoctrination. The Christian Nationalist secret weapon (Jesus Camps) is indoctrination. The Colonial Project in North America and Canada were fuelled by Calvinist Ideological indoctrination, Manifest Destiny.. The Indian Residential Schools were designed to indoctrinate the young children of the Native population - 'kill the Indian to save the man'.

Cognitive Warfare carried out on-line through micro targeting emotional vulnerability is part of this, it is designed to weaponise targets. Cognitive Warfare includes forms of indoctrination that target people who present symptoms of emotional immaturity and insecurity.


Colonialism is an inherently criminal enterprise.


These are all abusive practices.

Miller called this the instrumentalisation of children’s minds and bodies to become adult weapons of the systems of hierarchy and dominance. Traumatisation is inextricably entwined in this practice in that it always undermines meeting the emotional psychological and moral needs of the children for their healthy development.

Judith Herman in ’Trauma and Recovery’ wrote that ‘the study of psychological trauma is an inherently political enterprise because it calls attention to the experience of oppressed people.’

In my analysis the Western Industrial Cult(ure) of Wealth-as-Power I have written about this arena of malign societal influence and I state here, once again,  that Wealth-as-Power can only exist and persist if exploitation of entire populations is sustained. 


Capitalism /Industrialism is a cult, a belief system that deliberately and consistently deploys layers of violence to maintain its dominance. The core belief is that some are entitled, due to innate superiority, to exploit others. 


This is because exploitation is inherently unjust and causes harm. This generates distant and resistance. That resistance has to be controlled, by crushing it or dividing the population, and the curation of bigotry is a key method deployed.


Wealth-as-Power cult(ure)s present the same dynamic psychologies as an abusive family system.


In much the same way as a parent might punish a child with physical violence whilst asserting 'this is for your own good' they seem to believe that they are entitled to do so, that it is the best thing for all concerned. 


As a pattern of behaviour such punishment is more about the adults unconscious need to vent their own unresolved rage at their own parents, directed ar the vulnerable child, as a scapegoat, a dynamic that they can never admit without losing their sense of power, because to admit to their vulnerability, their unmet needs is to drop their shield, it is to eschew that sense of entitled power. 


Palestine Action are not Terrorists.


So too with the 'terrorism' charges laid at the people who actively oppose and protest the Genocide in Gaza. The Indian residential Schools of Canada and North America resonate with this dynamic, institutionalised.




Western liberals do not admit to this insight, and thus they never connect openly the curation of bigotry by the ruling class of Industrialism as a weapon system as a subject of critical analysis and honest discussion and therefore as something to actively counter. 


Farage is not just a nasty man.


They speak of bigotry as primarily a personal flaw, a quality of 'nasty people' rather than a weapon deployed by known actors that must be collectively countered. And so they approve of affirmative action and DEI without getting to the root of the problem - its deliberately curation by Wealth-as-Power elites as a weapon of societal division. Farage is a 'nasty' person, not a weapon of the Industrialist Ruling Class.


The indoctrination of children, be it direct or indirect, be it by habituation or acculturation, is a core component of the systems of oppression.  


The careful grooming of vulnerable adults is also part of this. 


The manosphere of 'Traditional Male Values' are part of this. Andrew Tate targets insecure young boys. Jordan Peterson targets boomer demographic insecure adult men. Russel Brand targets Millenails. All are proven grifters.

Ideological grooming via cognitive warfare is part of this.

Indoctrination is fundamentally an act of psychological abuse, and should be understood as a criminal enterprise.


Zionism


The Palestinians are not radicalised - they are simply put, standing on their own ground, the land they have inhabited for hundreds of generations, thousands of years.


They know this is their home, that the water, soil and air of Palestine is their bodies. They know they have an inherent right to self determination. They knew this under the Ottomans, The Romans and every other Empire that stood upon them.


The European Colonial project of Zionism is the problem.


Sir Ronald Storrs said that the Zionist enclave was to be 'a loyal little Jewish Ulster in a sea of potentially hostile Arabism'.


His meaning was that as the new Empire dominating the region, having taken over from the hated Ottomans, the threat of Arab speaking peoples seeking self determination through political, social, economic and multi-cultural solidarity posed a threat to the commercial interests of the Empire, and that potential had to be dissolved, dissuaded, crushed and prevented from emerging.


The British and French drew new borders, to split populations across language groups and other affinities, they installed monarchies and dictatorships, who they armed and funded, often training their leadership in Oxford and Sandhurst, as allies or vassals, to keep political power and agency away from the general population.


They created the Plantation of Zionism in the exact same pattern as the Plantation of Ireland under Cromwell, whose calling card was 'to Connaught or to Hell' - the Irish native population and landowners were pushed westwards, or they'd be slaughtered. and slaughter them they did, with religious zeal, a zeal they passed to their children to sustain hundreds of years of colonial oppression and exploitation.

Nadhim Zawahi - children should be seen, and not heard. Honesty in schools must be crushed. Making Schools Safe for Lying Authoritarians.

Nadhim Zahawi, Education Secretary, (also Minister for Mass Infection of Children, Delta and Omicron version), writing in the Daily Mail, suggests a campaign to "root out activist teachers who indoctrinate children."

Mr Zahawi said it is part of democracy for children to shape own political views
Comes after he investigated reports 'concerning' race theories being taught

Zawahi's ire was drawn forth from a letter written by a 10 year old child, to his local MP, in Nottingham. The letter was written as part of an English lesson at a primary school, Wellbeck Primary School. As per the curriculum instructions, taking real life examples and working them into a written project.

We are told that the teacher involved had posted critical comments on the Johnson governments policies on SARSCOV2 and Brexit on his personal twitter feed, having used the abusive term 'tory scum' at least once .

Here is  a section of the child's letter.

'We looked at famous leaders such as Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama, and we have also looked at teachers and headteachers who are doing their part in keeping us happy, healthy and safe.

'We also looked at people who we respect and disappointingly, our own Prime Minister has not made it onto this list.

'During this past week I watched a story on BBC Newsround that stated our PM is under investigation for 12 parties that have apparently occurred - a few of which had over 100 people at them when we weren't even allowed to meet more than two people

'What makes this matter worse is that when he was questioned about it in Parliament he said the following, ''I have been reassured there was no party.''

This is a lie.

'We also looked at people who we respect and disappointingly, our own Prime Minister has not made it onto this list,'

Reasonable points, well made.

Seems reasonable to me. And yes, I can easily imagine a 10 year old child writing  such a letter, being able to comprehend such basic matters of justice. Most children are  naturally intelligent, creative and curious. Most have a keen sense of injustice.

This brings me back to February 2006, at the Power Inquiry Conference, in Queen Elizabeth Hall, opposite the Houses of Parliment.

Part of the afternoon session was a general discussion that touched on Iraq, Pensions, the NHS, Education, lowering the voting age and other matters. The panel was inviting questions from the audience. About 500 people were seated in the hall.

There was a 13 year old boy, close to the front, who had his hand up, and he kept it up, standing there for a good 10 minutes, as other questions were taken and answered.

Eventually, the panel acknowledgd  his persistence, and allowed him to speak, a microphone was passed to him. This is the question he asked.

"What if the money spent on War in Afghanistan and Iraq was invested into our grandparents pensions?"

The audience erupts in applause. Applause subsides, panel takes two more questions.

The adult politicians on the panel - Menzies Campbell, Ed Milliband - ignored his question, answered the other questions.

I was there, I witnessed that happen. I was infuriated.

The child made a really good observation. We all knew the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were amoral, un-necessary and illegal. 

The 'adults' turned from the honesty of a child and in that moment betrayed the very meaning of democracy and justice. 

Most children have a keen sense of injustice.

Most children, if invited  to, if they feel safe and if they can truly trust the adults before them, will be honest about what they see.

Rarely will they be wrong - they see what they see.

Hence the honest child is seen to be a threat by every authoritarian, be it a parent, a teacher, a class bully or indeed a corrupt politician,

Honest history, a genuinely honest history curriculum would prevent so much avoidable nonsense. The lack of honesty about our histories among our political class, in our news and press media, in news broadcast and across entertainmentin England is well known.

History is not merely about the past, it is the present we are living through. We are always writing our history. Johnson did not break any Laws and he never lies, and even if he did, it cannot be said directly in Parliament. Some people devote a lot of energy to rewriting history as it happens.

What price an Honest History Curriculum? 

However, due to political interference, in spite of teachers best efforts, we do not have a honest and balanced, well informed history curriculum. Lessons on Slavery, Empire and The Holocaust are carefully curated to obscure the detail that really does matter.

My personal take on history is that it ought to tell the stories of the least powerful people and their families, the people most adversely impacted by the actions of the most powerful - for what, and at what human cost. This graphic illustrates this power disparity.

David Smail has written much that is pertinent to the situation we find ourselves in, in the midst of a Pandemic. His site is off-line, and this link goes to an archived version of his website, via way back machine, which I find very useful.

This article below in The Conversation on the matter of Holocaust history, and a general lack of knowledge across the UK on that matter, is topical, in that it reveals something of the grimy underbelly of discrimination currently emanating from the Home Office, and percolating throughout the ideological fight or flight emotional grooming of Brexit, and the almost constant political 'fiddling' with our children's education. The politicos at the Department of Education are quite exercised about indoctrination - they prefer their own to any others, or to none, as it happens.

"A survey exploring knowledge of the Holocaust has exposed limited awareness in the UK of some of the most fundamental aspects of this history. Conducted by the Claims Conference, a non-profit organisation which secures compensation for Holocaust survivors, the survey was based on interviews with 2,000 randomly selected adults. Less than half of the respondents knew that six million Jewish people were killed and only one-quarter were aware of the meaning of “Kindertransport”, the rescue of children from Nazi territories.

I am a researcher at the UCL Centre for Holocaust Education and was a member of the taskforce for the Claims Conference United Kingdom Holocaust Knowledge and Awareness Study. My research explores teaching and learning about the Holocaust in English secondary schools.

Absence from schools

The lack of knowledge revealed by the survey is partly due to patchy school teaching of the Holocaust. Before the 1990s, Holocaust teaching and learning in the UK was neither widespread nor popular. Generations of children received little or no formal education about the Holocaust.

This had slowly begun to change in the 1980s, but the most significant development came in 1991 when the Holocaust became compulsory content in the national history curriculum in England for students aged 11-14 years. It has remained on the curriculum ever since. Although there is no such statutory requirement in WalesScotland and Northern Ireland, it is widely taught in these countries as well

The deliberate lack of a fully informed historyin schools is a covert method of indoctrination by omission. "What they don't know about us can't harm us."

Which helps explain why Home Office can get away with proposing legislation that criminalises the entire traveller community. By which I mean to say that in a healthy governance system, that idea would be shot down as soon as an official uttered the words or sent a memo or email suggesting such a policy, and that person would be subjected to a 'performance review' and likely urged to seek counselling. Clearly we do not have a healthy governance system at The Home Office.

This blogger writes about a very dark article in the times, written by Matthew Parris:
"What on earth has happened to Matthew Parris?

For the last thirty years or so he has produced beautifully written, persuasive columns on subjects from llamas to high politics, typically characterised by thoughtfulness, tolerance and moderation. Then, last Saturday he wrote an extraordinary piece under the headline “We should stop pandering to Travellers.”

Depressingly, almost all of the 1200+ people commenting below Mr Parris’s article agreed with him. Many of the comments – and I doubt that they were those sympathetic to Gypsies – had been deleted as “violating our policy,” but a sample of those considered acceptable included comments such as:

“They live below the legal radar and do not abide by the same rules of decency and respect that most people do.
~
Poor to non existant (sic) education, high levels of criminality, high unemployment and truly dreadful attitudes to women make it a group we can do without in the future.
~
These groups are the most violent of societies and live by crime. Of course their children are uneducated; wives are beaten; medical staff are intimidated. The list is endless.
~
[T]heir lifestyle is at root parasitic – it feeds almost entirely off the mainstream without giving back – or any intention of doing do – it’s all take and no give; all entitlement and no responsibility.”

That their children are deprived of education is the fault of their lifestyle, children moving all the time cannot have a settled education. That they die young, is also their own fault too.”

Matthew Parris, his editor, the editor of the Times and all these people view the prospect of  legalised oppression of the traveller culture as a positive.

The same people are livid over Allan Carr's Holocaust 'joke'.  Hypocrisy abounds.

"And Times readers are more polite than most. 

Elsewhere in the press it is easy to find, below almost any story about Gypsies commenters describing them as “filthy,” “thieves,” “freeloaders” “rats” and worse. The occasional slightly more liberal commenter might observe that whilst all these things are true of Travellers they are less so of the “genuine Gypsy,” a view shared by Heinrich Himmler who wished to spare a few “pure-bred” Gypsies while organising the murder of at least 500,000 whom he considered racial vermin.

How little has changed in 500 years. It has been the Gypsy and the Traveller’s lot to be hated, feared and misunderstood for centuries. The preamble to the Egyptians Act 1530 illustrates how little those prejudices have changed:

“FORASMUCH as before this time divers and many outlandish people calling themselves Egyptians, using no craft nor feat of merchandise have come into this realm, and gone from shire to shire and place to place in great company, and used great, subtil, and crafty means to deceive the people … and so many times by craft and subtilty have deceived the people of their money, and also have committed many heinous felonies and robberies, to the great hurt and deceit of the people that they have come among ….”

The Act made it unlawful for Gypsies to enter the country, and those already here were given 16 days to leave or forfeit their possessions.

Henry VIII’s attempt at ethnic cleansing failed, as did another  Act passed during his eldest daughter’s reign in 1554, which exempted Gypsies from deportation or execution if they assimilated into the general population or, as the Act put it, gave up their “naughty, ungodly and idle” way of life."

Is this History taught honestly in all our schools?  Is it not the case that that lack of honesty is part and parcel of the way oppression and hatred is nurtured and anger is directed at the nomadic culture by the settled, and that it functions as a scapegoat, a distraction and a vent for other frustrations the ordinary settled endure at the hands of the Ruling Class?

What is political grooming other than a profoundly ugly psychologically abusive covert form of indoctrination?

SCL, the 'strategic election communications' company which birthed Cambridge Analytica, ran psyhological warfare campaigns in 68 countries, during 100 elections, before Cambridge Analytica was spawned to indoctrinate and groom vulnerable people across the UK to support Brexit, the lies of which lay scattered all about us in early 2022.

Nadhim Zawahi who is personally and institutionally responsible for mass infection of school children across England, as the Education Secretary that coerced children into unsafe schools in the midst of a pandemic.

Remembering : All War is Child Abuse.

all war is child abuse


a poem for 1919 - 2019

"The grooming (gaslighting) of human vulnerability is one of most vile things any human being can do to another."




It is also a song.


I try to 'remember' aware that I am placed within an historical context, a point between what has happened and what will happen, in the present, the place of happening, which is here and now.

I am aware I am here because so many organisms have lived, nurtured and died.

We are all here as a result of the evolution of  living systems.
 

And in this time, Remembrance Sunday in particular, I turn towards every ancestor ever murdered in warfare, every family bombed out of their home, every child shot in the back in flight, the terror, the pain, the loss, the grief, the disgust, the shame, the guilt, the denial, the survival, the hatred and so much else that has distorted human lives down through the wounded generations across the Earths lived in spaces, everywhere, for all time, the remembered and the forgotten.

All of that vast lived experience of terror, pain, shock, disgust.

It's a lot of peoples lives totally fucked up beyond all recognition.

It's real. It is not abstract.

I allow myself to begin to imagine the terror, the feeling, the sense of going through all of that, and I am already shattered, momentarily.  This is terrifying, when I really allow it in. It is also huge - an immense sadness, grief and dismay beyond all comprehension.

I am glad that I am only imagining, that for me this is a kind of mental and emotional thought feeling experiment.

I imagine that then multiplied million upon million fold, ordinary folk caught up in the wars of the powerful, as in WWI and WWII, the wars of colonial conquest, of indigenous annihilation.

The survivors PTSD interwoven with trying to make ends meet as a  slave, an indentured worker, a beggar, a low wage worker-labourer, a shopkeeper, a cobbler, a doctor, whatever.

I think about how that trauma and poverty 'informed' or conditioned all those lives of the centuries of warfare, and in relation to my own immediate ancestors in Ireland during the 1910s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s

Traumatised parents doing their best, yet passing on the woundedness, the loss, the behavioural dynamics on unresolved trauma.

I try to see through to the ripples of effect and affect. I try to see how all of that ripples through to today, how it afflicts the present, from 100 years ago and more, millennia of war fare.

15,000 years of Civilisation  and Warfare.

And the thing is this - go back 30,000 years or 60,000 years and we see very, very little evidence of any Monumental Institutional Culture, now evidence of any Hierarchy of Violence Culture.

Kings, Palaces, Pyramids all unknown.

We know that outside the areas of 'civilisation' the vast majority of sustained cultures were egalitarian cultures built for conflict resolution, de-escalation of aggression, carrying on trade.

We know that nomadic, migratory, pastoral, horticultural, fisher-hunter-gatherers in the large part maintained healthy attachment bonding between mother and child - social cultures where nurture is highly valued, more valued than power.

War is a culture, rather than a sequence of discrete events innate to human nature.

WWI cannot be studied within it's start and finish timelines and be understood.

It was another ripple in the culture of competing militarised industrialised states - the rights and wrongs of WWI are a gaslighting exercise. The issue is the culture of warfare as a political utility, which itself emerges from hierarchy of violence culture - God the wrathful, who loves you, The Murderous State that will punish you, the dominant all powerful parent.

Ending the warfare culture is the work of all honest, free adults.

Human Welfare is our business here, not Warfare. 

There was no sacrifice, nothing was won, the bland lies of polished brass, marching to order, wreaths and ceremony are in truth a private memorial attended by  some few loyal Survivors, co-opted by the Chiefs of Staff and their political masters for political advantage.

Let me clarify.

The people who lived through the combat and destruction have a fraternal duty and a human  need to remember, to bear witness to what happened, to grieve, to cry, to stand in stoic grace and to somehow integrate their experience, and be held, lovingly.

They also need full support to deal with their wounds, they deserve help in every possible way no questions asked. They rarely receive this because to acknowledge these wounds fully would be to expose the mythos of war as a sham.

And most of all they need the civilians to ensure that the politicians never, ever send future generations to go to war off shore.

I cannot dismiss the survivors of warfare on any side, their wounds are real, and they are victimised by those who urge warfare, by those who glorify warfare in order to condition others to habituate to warfare.

War is only possible if a culture permits child abuse.

It requires an organisational effort to prepare children for the eventuality of  war.

Indoctrination is pretty central to the successful prosecution of warfare,and enforcement of conquest, and ought be understood as a grooming behaviour that has been institutionalised, weaponized and deployed, in effect if not always on concert.

All war is child abuse, child abuse is war.

The vast resources deflected away from nurturing happy healthy families, safe communities and thus functionally sound societies deprives every child of those societies, and is a form of indirect child abuse.

The training of youngsters to become combat troops, to become something that they can have no experience of; the deliberate, methodical organised killing of warfare, and it's disorganisation in the field.

They have to break the youngster and rebuild, re-condition and in effect brain wash that youngster as part of a group going through the same abusive training that it's their togetherness that matters, so they all push through, as a habit, as an emotional reaction.

This is typically done between age 16 and 22 whilst the frontal cortex of the brain is still developing, whilst the young persons brain is still vulnerable to adverse environmental influence.

Talking to children about Heaven and Hell is terrorism, if you can see it honestly, for what it is, without judgement, as a anti-biological cultural behaviour pattern.

To insert into the child's mind the existential fear of his or her own 'soul', or 'self' based on a fable through reward/sanction behaviour modification dynamics that internalise the external values into the child so that the child believes those values to be his or her own.

Terror, fear and Hope.

Look at it that way and then the behaviour can be addressed.

It's again the pattern of intruding into the child's psyche.

Colonialism.

"We do not need to shape our children, rather we need to respond to who they are."

The fear the child will not choose the Religion or System on their own is great, and is a reflection of the insecurity of all dogma, all doctrine, all religious zeal and practice.

Same thing, different appearance.

Healthy people do not go to war.

And so it goes..

The culture routinely, and understandably, ignores the meaning of the harms caused - we avoid the intensity and intimacy of each act of violence, each death moment is masked out.

They lost their lives is uttered rather than they were murdered for political power.

Yet each thing like that existed, and they continue to exist, and there is no balance, no resolution to that death. We cannot claw back the life that has been utterly destroyed.

Thus the historians and school masters utter numbers, statistics, miles gained or lost, and they  speak of generals, and heroes, and the villages in between are invisible - the deaths are less than notable.

Just numbers. Just numb.

And so the war habituated people will quote such information in repetition, having 'learned' the official narrative, euphemism to mask the immensity of individual suffering, repeated in unspeakable intensity, by the millions, re-presented as historical sentiment  via caricature that brings tears to the eyes, the emotions of national sacrifice so carefully tended.

That's a big ask to feel into that immense well of pain, grief, desperation, it's so much easier to take the heroic stance.

But we need to feel into that to really understand why in a fully embodied sense we must cease our states engaging in warfare.

Hence my latest release* - All War is Child Abuse.

My argument is simple.

The indoctrination that is central to the prosecution of War is child abuse.

Organised, Institutional invasive psychological grooming to exploit that child-adult for violent political activism - that's what soldiers are.

They are the tactical violent utility of the ruling class.

They wage war for political masters.

The waste of materials and wealth and human time, from extraction industries, to weapons makers, then the destruction wrought by warfare consumables 'market' - all of it is global child abuse.

I get that many millions of folk have lived experience of this in ways i do not, in ways I would never want to experience and that I am not 'expert' here...

I am looking at all the elements and I find nothing that exists that balances the harms experienced.

Nothing.

Nothing in war that I would 'endure' to serve Humanity. Nothing I would ask any other to bear to 'save' Humanity...

It's bullshit to claim there is glory, goodness, heroism, sacrifice in war - those are all after the fact rationalisations or pre-fight fantasies.

The exploitation of the hyper-adrenalenised traumatised wounded survivors trying to make sense of it all.

Nobody wins war.


As I understand it 'losses' in war are in fact the numbers of people murdered by a system of power, be they troop or civilian, adult or child, volunteer or conscript.

Murders, not losses.

Losses to the organising agencies, whose concern with numbers of troops is rather obvious.

To go after troops who murdered people in Iraq and to avoid going after the men who organised and funded and prosecuted an invasion and war against another state?

That is an appalling act of deliberate hypocrisy, because that failure to indict known War Criminals is part of what enables War Makers to get away with it. They never go to jail.

Colonialism and Conquest.

I find it  appalling that the majority of Europeans cannot 'see' what Colonialism really costed, and still costs,

How can they not understand that a cruel dynamic generated the wealth and status we Europeans now stand on, which we were born into,

I find it appalling that we British are not strong enough to arrest our White European Christian War Criminals.

Blair is free and that indicts the entire Western European polity, straight up.

Bush is free, and that indicts the entire Industrial World. Straight up.

I say this - We remember and we must prevent or it is just nostalgia and cover-up, which is very, very stinky evil.

Go on, then, televise and broadcast the old men of 'yesterdays wars' tearing up, the young men in fresh uniform, the disabled veterans, the bugle, the wind, the seriousness of the moment, the standing, lots of standing.

But if they go to war tomorrow, if we allow our Government to go to war, if we permit venal men and women to fund covert warfare, to supply active combatants in illegal Wars, in effect spreading violence, then it's just a load of political grooming gangsterism.

Just for the show.

It's not a good show.

Scam Society or Honest Society?

Bullies seek to co-opt the decent.
In practice it is both a behaviour pattern (unconscious), and a deliberate tactic (conscious).
If the bully cannot co-opt, the bully will denigrate the target in the eyes of others, the on-lookers, the bystanders, the target population.
'Corbyn is a Marxist', 'Corbyn is un-electable' , 'Corbyn is an anti-Semite' are all untrue, and the reason these untruths are spoke is because he would not press the Nuke trigger. That's the real reason the established power networks hate him so much.
It has nothing to do with Socialism.

The issue is with being willing to follow orders. to be willing to press the trigger, to launch mass death upon an innocent population, Because when he is stating that he would not press it, and would in fact seek to disarm it, that is publicly rejecting their co-opting of the job of Prime Minister into that of a Warlord.
However the bullies cannot speak the truth, they cannot say "We will never let a pacifist have the power to stop War!"

Instead they lay allegations against him, with ad hominem twist for spice, and then associate him with a hate figure. It is when one understands this behaviour, that one tends to look more closely, and observing the precise moment of co-option, then immediately defusing that trigger, that this kind of bullying is disabled.
You knock it on the head there and then. You name it. You say 'This Emperor is Naked!'

This is the only way to activate the will of the people, the energy and engagement of the people with what is happening. People will only respond if they can see that there is ruthless honesty and it is clearly felt, absolutely understood.

When that practice is common amongst the electorate, we will see progressive change, because we will be driving it.

The Bullies will not, obviously, volunteer in this effort, and will resist any such efforts by every tool of disruption.

Hence the need for active engagement with understanding grooming, manipulating people through studied vulnerabilities.

Hence the active divisive marketing machine going over drive.
Corbyn, Gaza and marketing propaganda

Where ever we see a military force arranged against a civilian population, we see oppression, organised, institutionalised oppression.

We see the combined efforts of millions of workers, hundreds of thousands of troops, thousands of officers and many hundreds of civil officials, the logistical, industrial supply lines, the collection and expenditure of taxation and State policy all geared to that military operation.

That's a lot of people, that's entire cities, whole economies of regions devoted to oppression, rather than nurturance.

Today is a 15th anniversary day of so many needless deaths and maiming's in Iraq in the first weeks of the War Against Iraq. Every day is an anniversary of some horror perpetrated upon innocent people by States and their proxies in the international arena of competing militarised powers. Every day.

Yeah, whatever

ISIS. The IDF. The Burmese Army. The US Marine Corps in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Russian Army, Al-Nusra Front, Argentinian Troops in The Falklands, The IRA, FARC, Nazi War Machine, Nuclear Weapons, Bio-Weapons, covert and overt support for militia - it's all the same psycho-social dynamic.

Sides are an illusion. Taking sides is a delusion, and insane delusion.

None of their justifications or rationales for political or economic violence stand the test of honesty, evidence and justice. None.

Not even WWI or WWII.

Taking sides within this culture of hierarchically organised violence merely perpetuates it.
Debt is political leverage, and the narrative of the property ladder is merely a grooming operation for debt creation as a hobble.

New Labour continued the deregulation of the banking sector, they broke the separation between high street retail and investment banking, flooding the retail sector with electronic credit, to make it easier for workers to buy property - the credit was then converted into real earned revenues by the workers, as they paid pack the mortgages, and that real wealth was transferred to the lenders.

The property remains, is perhaps redecorated, and renovated.
The material value does not fundamentally change, it is still a property, but it's nominal land price does change, because the market pushes the prices up to attract investors in debt, and so the cost of fitting in and participating in property ownership as an investment model has an entirely fictitious 'market driven' price.

It ceases being a home, part of a community of homes, it becomes an investment vehicle ofr an individual and the village dies.

The lenders convert imaginary assets into wealth.

They set the market, and politicians legislate for that need.

The home owner is politically inert, reduced to a cog in a machine.

Debt clouds the debtors horizon.

The Tories are continuing the process.

Load debt onto the electorate through credit, load the State with debt to a similar degree, and the entire country is on hock to the money men.

This is but one of many scams.

Sold as upwards social mobility.

Sold as aspirations.

Thatcher birthed some of it's recent spawn, but it started long, long before she emerged.
It's less Left vs Right any more, than it is Scam vs Honesty.
