Belfast Riots : Our species thrivival and evolution is correlated with alloparenting.

Our species thrivival and evolution is correlated with alloparenting.
Alloparenting is the primary behavioural distinction between hominin and primate species, and is closely associated or correlated with the enlarged forebrain which enables emotional self regulation, creativity, third mind awareness....
Alloparenting—the care of offspring by individuals other than biological parents—is a defining hallmark of human evolution. By allowing mothers to share the immense energetic burden of raising altricial (helpless) infants, with the adolescent and adult community, alloparenting enabled our ancestors to better regulate birth intervals and evolve exceptionally large brains, laying the foundation for modern human societies.

Egalitarian approaches are rooted in care and empathy.
The affiliative and reward systems that support biological parenting are also active in alloparents. The Neurobiological Causes and Effects of Alloparenting highlights how alloparental caregiving triggers neurobiological bond formation, ensuring vulnerable infants receive high-quality care even if biological parents are temporarily absent.
Alloparenting mitigates against concentration of power notably the absence of hierarchy systems and patriarchy common in egalitarian societies

Books I have read that have informed me in this issue.

1. Mothers and Others : written by Sarah Bluffer Hrdy

https://www.jstor.org/stable/j.ctt1c84czb

"Mothers and Others is a brilliant work on a profoundly important subject. The leading scientific authority on motherhood has come through again." -E. O. Wilson

Somewhere in Africa, more than a million years ago, a line of apes began to rear their young differently than their Great Ape ancestors. From this new form of care came new ways of engaging and understanding each other. How such singular human capacities evolved, and how they have kept us alive for thousands of generations, is the mystery revealed in this bold and wide-ranging new vision of human emotional evolution.

Mothers and Others finds the key in the primatologically unique length of human childhood. If the young were to survive in a world of scarce food, they needed to be cared for, not only by their mothers but also by siblings, aunts, fathers, friends-and, with any luck, grandmothers.

Out of this complicated and contingent form of childrearing, Sarah Hrdy argues, came the human capacity for understanding others.

Mothers and others teach us who will care, and who will not.

Elon Musk's statement that 'The
greatest weakness of Western Civilisation
is Empathy' which clearly resonates with Wealth-as-Power is indicative. Israeli Zionist indoctrination is the deliberate weaponisation of their own children.

Mothers and Others is an easy read.

From its opening vision of "apes on a plane"; to descriptions of baby care among marmosets, chimpanzees, wolves, and lions; to explanations about why men in hunter-gatherer societies hunt together, Mothers and Others is compellingly readable.

But it is also an intricately knit argument that ever since the Pleistocene, it has taken a village to raise children-and how that gave our ancient ancestors the first push on the path toward becoming emotionally modern human beings.

2. Father Time : written by Sarah Bluffer Hrdy

https://press.princeton.edu/books/hardcover/9780691238777/father-time

It has long seemed self-evident that women care for babies and men do other things. Hasn’t it always been so? When evolutionary science came along, it rubber-stamped this venerable division of labor: mammalian males evolved to compete for status and mates, while females were purpose-built to gestate, suckle, and otherwise nurture the victors’ offspring.

But come the twenty-first century, increasing numbers of men are tending babies, sometimes right from birth. How can this be happening?

Real men are empathic nurturers.

Puzzled and dazzled by the tender expertise of new fathers around the world—several in her own family—celebrated evolutionary anthropologist and primatologist Sarah Blaffer Hrdy set out to trace the deep history of male nurturing and explain a surprising departure from everything she had assumed to be “normal.”

In Father Time, Hrdy draws on a wealth of research to argue that this ongoing transformation in men is not only cultural, but profoundly biological. Men in prolonged intimate contact with babies exhibit responses nearly identical to those in the bodies and brains of mothers.

They develop caring potential that wealth-as-power hierarchies and patriarchy pretended men do not possess.

Wealth-as-Power detests empathy.

In her quest to explain how men came to nurture babies, Hrdy travels back through millions of years of human, primate, and mammalian evolution, then back further still to the earliest vertebrates—all while taking into account recent economic and social trends and technological innovations and incorporating new findings from neuroscience, genetics, endocrinology, and more.

The result is a masterful synthesis of evolutionary and historical perspectives that expands our understanding of what it means to be a man—and what the implications might be for society and our species.

The implications are existential.

And given the current enraged violent surge of Patriarchal Wealth-as-Power which Trump, Theil, Musk, Farage, Robinson and many others of the politically agitated billionaire class are presenting and their weaponisation of 'masculinity' as a misogynistic manospheric aggressive nationalistic political movement that is fascistic and divisive, as a campaign to evade accountability for the many harms that we understand from the evidence that Wealth Extraction has caused and is causing (Climate Disruption, Environment Degradation, Warfare, Poverty, Racism) as Wealth-as-Power seeks to over power Governments and countries, the implications are existential.

Northern Ireland Riots Last Night..

In the 1970s the British Army were brought into Northern Ireland on the premise of protecting British Catholic Citizens from British Protestants who were burning the Catholics out of their homes because the Catholics were organising a Civil Rights movement to address the oppression they were under within Northern Ireland. The issue was civil rights, not Fenianism/Republicanism vs Unionism/Loyalism.

History tells us the British Security State and its covert military wing were involved in the Protestant violence, and later on infiltrated the IRA and other militia and ran undercover attacks, killings and bombings, presenting them as from each 'side' presumably to escalate and exacerbate the shituation into a war as a way to crush the Civil Rights Movement.

The British and American Ruling Class saw and still see the Ciivl Rights Movement as a threat. Just as they see Feminism and Socialism as threats. Patriarchy as Wealth-as-Power remains determined to dominate all our lives and to evade being held accountable.

Poverty is a weapon.

The only people who should be ashamed of poverty are those who maintain it as a political and economic weapon.

In England, over one in five adults and a record 31% of children—equivalent to about 4.5 million children nationally—live in relative poverty, defined as having a household income below 60% of the median average, after housing costs are deducted.
Shared parenting by a whole community that has the resources to do that safely and comfortably is a core requirement for psychological health of the people - it takes a village to raise a healthy child.
Poverty is un-natural, it is invented and maintained and in England it is intentionally concentrated, with urban and post-industrial regions bearing the highest burden. The North West has the highest child poverty rate of any English region, with nearly 90% of constituencies seeing at least a quarter of children living in hardship.
Locally, the crisis is most severe in parts of major cities. For example, in the Birmingham Ladywood constituency, a staggering 62% of children live in poverty.
There are no good reasons why a wealthy economy such as England should have long term poverty at such scale.
The agitators like Farage, Trump, Robinson, Peterson, Bannon, Tate and others have been grooming young men and older men from those impoverished communities who they indoctrinate into misogyny, racism and alpa maleism as 'tradition', offering a traditional patriarchal masculinity as a solution, presenting minority groups as scapegoats. This grooming campaign is well organised, well funded, operating globally and is a form of Cognitive Warfare.

Cognitive Warfare

Cognitive Warfare is a systemic targeting of vulnerable people to 'nudge' them into behaviour that can be exploited politically and financially.

Cognitive warfare is a modern strategic concept that treats the human mind as a battlefield. It aims to alter what targets—civilians and military personnel alike—perceive, how they interpret information, and how they behave. By attacking rationality and group cohesion, adversaries can achieve strategic goals without direct militarised physical violence. It does nor replace militarised violence, it operates as an adjunct to militarised violence, and is as often aimed at home populations as it is at populations of perceived adversaries.

In this case The Manosphere targets boys and men who are genuinely relatively deprived, under educated, impoverished, and are rightfully resentful of their shituation as they see wealth being taken away by billionaires whilst their lives are littered with low wages, high rents, petty crime and layers of abuse, and who also feel aggrieved that the more comfortable middle classes look down on them... this is a bonfire fuelled by inequity, quite deliberate inequity.

The groomers know exactly what they are doing.

This is very much what is going on in Northern Ireland and England in 2026 - this time it is immigrants, rather than Catholics, who are being used as scapegoats and targets. The political objective of all of this is to divide a population that is under duress by an oligarchy system, in order to prevent connected, humane, community oriented solidarity ever emerging as a political movement. A movement that would hold Wealth-as-Power accountable and prevent it from causing more harm.

The British Ruling Class prefer chaos to being held accountable. They always have.

Anyone who reads history in detail, from the perspective of survivors of organised violence in colonised lands would understand this. Fortunately the Ruling Class document their covert action in a variety of ways which historians pore over decades after the events being examined. In Northern Ireland this was called collusion.

Indoctrination is a weapon

|ndoctrination is a process where adults tell children what to think, what to feel, what to believe, how to behave, it is a process that use sanctions, punishments and other tools to enforce those instructions upon the child, to discourage independent examination, to punish dissent and uses rewards to groom the child to internalise that set of beliefs or values or assumptions and those then become part of the child's sense of self. It is a form of colonisation of the child's mind, body, psyche.

The Israeli State and the Israeli people at large are an example of where this kind of cultural behaviour can take a society.

Colonialism in the America's was driven by this dynamic - successive generations of children were indoctrinated to believe they were superior humans to others, who were deemed inferior, less than human and therefore could be exterminated to make way for the fully human group.

Indoctrination can be intentional and direct or circumstantial and indirect.

Traumatised adults can inadvertently pass on their unresolved coping mechanisms, which children can pick up subconsciously.

Marketing exploits both of these dynamics. Political indoctrination, propaganda are everywhere in modern life.

These practices totally undermine alloparenting, and they thwart our natural evolutionary development as a nurturing social species.

Emotional Intelligence is one of the most beautiful aspects of being a genuinely healthy evolved human

Emotional Intelligence is one of the most beautiful aspects of being a genuinely healthy evolved human being, a person. Kindness prevails and supports a state of Thrivival. Thrivival is so much more than mere Survival.

It takes almost no effort to submit to a violent hierarchy, to get by. That said the distress of living under a violent hierarchy generates chronic stressors that make life still very difficult indeed, with reasonable cause of anxiety, sadness, despair all of which require great effort to manage.

It takes immense effort to stand up to a violent hierarchy in order to thrive well.

That effort is made less of a burden when the majority of the population take it on as their task. This is a numbers game, We do have the numbers.

We need to de-numb ourselves, and that will require we care more for each other, even for strangers in our midst.

All is born of woman, no harm shall come to the children.

Kropotkin was correct in his insights, which aligned with those of Darwin : Mutual Aid is the healthiest state of the human species. The Egalitarian Psychology of Human Evolution is our oldest state. This video, from Radical Anthropology, examines aspects of this. Well worth a viewing and reviewing as it presents substantive evidence of our egalitarian roots as a marker of health for our species.

Jerome Lewis on Egalitarian Cultures Child Care and Gender Relations.

It is really important, I think, for Western civilians to understand that egalitarian culture is an expression of our most healthiest evolved state as a species. Egalitarian culture demands active daily effort to maintain the egalitarian frameworks and sensibilities, and it is not a 'romantic utopian' task - it requires emotional intelligence, robust fitness, constant care, courage and empathy.

The author at a protest march sometime ago.
Warfare is rooted in institutionalised child abuse and the adverse impacts of warfare harm children, leaving a trace of distress and traumatisation that lingers for generations.

Wealth-as-Power

We live within a Wealth-as-Power Cult that is emotionally damaged, immature and insecure. This is where the violence we are all witnessing comes from. Wealth-as-Power can only exist through the intentional and deliberate exploitation of entire populations. This is unjust. It also generates dissent and resistance, precisely because it is unjust.

The people who operate Wealth-As-Power know this and that renders them ever insecure. They cannot sleep sound at night knowing that the unjustness of their cause may generate emergent solidarity amongst the exploited which might hold them accountable for the many avoidable harms they have caused, and are causing and intend to cause, as they pursue the Power to maintain Wealth Extraction, most often by force or manipulation.

Trump

When the Irish Taoiseach, Micheál Martín laughed with Trump as he made a joke about the Irish housing crisis that is harming millions of Irish people, he presented his lack of emotional intelligence, his lack of courage and clarity. At the same time he pushed back on Irish economic activity with the USA, citing the example of Ryan Air and others who are Boeings largest international clients.

In some ways he played Trump during the visit, in order to protect Irish interests, in ways that show he is more mature than Trump, yet that is quite a low bar. Indeed he did not confront Trump over issues in Ukraine and Palestine. Walking on eggshells.

Playing each other is toxic

I believe we need political leaders who do not stoop to playing each other. we need forthright, honest, capable political leaders and legislators and parties that will do the work required to hold those who cause avoidable harm accountable, as a process of prevention of further avoidable harm.

Both men represent Wealth-as-Power, Patriarchy and the continuation of the avoidable harm causation.  Neither man proposes practical solutions to de-escalation of conflict. Martín is avoiding bring in the Occupied Territories Bill in the Irish Dáil, in spite of the demands of the majority of the Irish citizenry.

Micheál Martín wants the Irish State to drop its Neutrality Status to enable the sending of young Irish men and women to war zones as active combatants, rather than as peace keepers. This is unconscionable and incredibly stupid. We need to end warfare in order to build the cooperation to meet the challenges of Climate Disruption, and to end the injustice of competing warring state. We Irish do not need to escalate warfare, we need to stand to bring it to an end. This is true for the vast majority of humans alive today.

Emotional intelligence starts in utero, is matured in infancy and practiced throughout a healthy life within a healthy community. This is a biological mandate for optimal human health as individuals and as collectives.

The Shaping of Our Emotional Selves
Allan Schore

Sarah Blatter Hrdy wrote a book called 'Mothers and Others' to present a hypothesis concerning the development of alloparenting as a key dynamic in the evolution of egalitarian humanity. Allan Schores work confirms that hypothesis.

An egalitarian family group in a river, at ease with their environment.

The emotional mature Corbyn and the emotionally immature Starmer.
One seeks to nurture, the other to dominate.

This is a true representation of the hearts and minds of these men.

Starmer is intentionally removing social care supports for young people to drive them into low paid work, or worse, to drive sufficient numbers into the military as he gears up for escalation of warfare. He knows exactly what he is doing, he knows the avoidable harms this will cause and he continues nonetheless.

Earth Without Humans - the purpose of Life.

Spring by the River Lee, Cork

A basic principle or axiom of living organisms as species is the fact of biologically optimal healthy behaviour as the evolutionary norm for the entire species,  behaviour which adds to the fecundity of life, incrementally, day by day, week by week, year by year, millennia by millennia. This is not a random outcome.

The River Lee in Cork, Ireland

If I take the human species out of the picture of life on Earth, and consider what is done, what happens across biological life, and ask the question : what is the purpose of life, the answer I get is to nurture more fecundity into the shared environment, adapting to the dynamic changes inherent to the variables of wealth, climate, altitude, topography, soil, geological change, occasional asteroids, water quality and type and many others.

Bacteria do this. Worms do this. Bears do this. Flies do this. Spiders do this. Ants do this. Wolves do this. Elephants do this. Trees do this. Fungi do this. Every living organism does this. Chimpanzees do this. Ducks to this. Ostriches do this. Sea Slugs do this. Coral Reef does this. Forests to this. Grasslands do this. Deserts do this.

What then, is the purpose of another species, the human species, in all of this?

To nurture the shared environment through naturally evolved optimally healthy behaviour.

As mammals, we are formed in the womb, where all our needs are met. We are born vulnerable, and for 18 months minimum all our needs must be met by our family and community. Indeed it is also the case that as we grow, become youth, become adults and then elders, all our needs are met by the behaviour of ourselves and our community, living as we do within the total environment.

We feed on plants and their fruits, we feed on other mammals, on fish, on insects.

The care of children indicates a necessity for empathy and kindness, mastery and robust physical health, psychological balance and intelligent creativity.

The care of adults and elders indicates a necessity for empathy and kindness, mastery and robust physical health, psychological balance and intelligent creativity.

In my view the purpose then is to live well, to nurture one another and our shared environment.

Every behaviour that undermines or impedes this is clearly unhealthy.

The fact that when behaviour that undermines all this is prevalent we suffer deeply, we are distressed, we live in a state of chronic stress that presents as disease or illness. We are not adapted well to being bullied, exploited or enslaved. We may well cope with being forced to endure those conditions, but we are not well adapted to them. This tells me these conditions are counter-evolutionary.

Being a nurturant species demands cognitive kindness as a social norm, a cultural norm, a societal norm.

Our purpose here is to be kind, to be loving, to be robust and this requires psychological and physiological health, for which we are quite well evolved.

The immense variation of our shared world, in terms of geographical variation leads to a rich and diverse expression of our ways of living, adapting to each variation as we walked across this Earth.

None of this ignores the facts of suffering due to loss, accident, environmental disaster and occasional disease and ill health. Our innate sensitivity is imbued with vulnerability.

I do not propose an ideal utopia so much as suggest there is a biologically optimally healthy norm, from which Hierarchy of Wealth as Power culture has always deviated, because inherent to the institutionalisation of a hierarchy of wealth as power is the exploitation of a larger healthy vulnerable population by a smaller violent, hardened psychologically unhealthy population.

Given that this is our purpose, the problem of how we confront the unhealthy behaviour of hierarchies of Wealth and Power can be addressed as a matter of recovery of biologically optimal health behaviours as individuals, families, communities, cultures and as a species.

How do we recover our evolutionary biologically optimal human behavioural dynamic? That is not our purpose, that is our task, our challenge that is the path to returning to our purpose.

We really ought to be using the term 'Climate Disruption' because it is more honest.

'Peace is more than the absence of war' - Arudhuti Roy.

Peace is when justice and accountability is in place in ways that prevent further avoidable harm. Accountability is not punishment. It is healing and recovery of human relationships in ways that prevent further harms being caused.

“Peace, Inc., is sometimes as worrying and War, Inc. It's a way of managing public anger. We're all being managed, and we don't even know it. The IMF and the World Bank, the most opaque and secretive entities, put millions into NGOs who fight against "corruption" and for "transparency." They want the Rule of Law--as long as they make the laws. They want transparency in order to standardise a situation, so that global capital can flow without any impediment. Cage the People, Free the Money. The only thing that is allowed to move freely--unimpeded--around the world today is money, capital.”

― Arundhati Roy, Things that Can and Cannot Be Said: Essays and Conversations

Regarding the matter of 'Climate Change' I think it is a deliberate euphemism- it is way too easy to conflate 'climate change' with 'natural change' as a linguistic cognitive warfare move.

Wealth as Power - The Cognitive Warfare Techbro Group

Wealth as Power Cult(ures) have dominated humanity for a mere 10,000 years

Every morning a new day starts, and with each day, new potentials and possibilities are made.

I write because I believe in us humans as a healthy humane species. I know that biology does not generate 'naturally' unhealthy species. I know that biology generates species whose behaviour nurtures the shared environment, at every level, building incremental fecundity into the habitat.

Climate Denialism is Cognitive Warfare

Racism and Misogyny are also Cognitive Warfare operations.

The Chiefs of Staff and High Command of the Cognitive Warfare of Climate Disruption Denialism are the Fossil Fuel Billionaire Shareholders.

The Fossil Fuel Billionaires and others are funding well organised insdustrialised operations at scale to target ordinary people with Cognitive Warfare content.

So when ordinary people deny Climate Disruption, it is because they have become weaponised, through exposure to cognitive warfare.

The Fossil Fuel and Mining Oligarchy knew about Climate Disruption 70 years ago. Their own Scientists confirmed it. The Shareholders decided to deny the Science because they wanted to keep drilling, producing, maintain and increase consumption, in order to amass ever more Wealth as Power. Their Power is maintained in large part by their deployment of Vast Wealth as a political weapon.

That makes them culpable for the avoidable harms they chose not to avoid.

That culpability also makes them liable for the costs of the harms caused, and other ancillary costs associated with all of this.

The role of healthy governance is to avoid all avoidable harms.

They KNOW this.

They understand that if any Democratic Legislature upholds, enforces or passes Laws to hold them accountable that they will lose their Wealth and more importantly, they will lose the Political Power as a Ruling Class Lobby.

This they have chosen to not cede. They perceive being held accountable as an existential threat, as a life or death issue. This is immature, of course. we are dealing with immature yet very, very powerful people.

They are therefore waging an all out war against Democratic Accountability and Legislative Regulation of their Industry and their Wealth as Power.

It is not greed for money.

Most of us ordinary people do not understand this because we are still fixated on the idea of Greed for Money as the driving force of Wealth Hierarchies, rather than the matter of Wealth as Power, Wealth as a Ruling Lobby that dictates to entire populations on how society is to be run. In their interests, not matter what the costs to ordinary people and our shared environment.

This war is a war against all of us, irrespective of our cultural, religious and political leanings. They want war, we want healing and recovery. We do not want or need to harm them as persons. We do not need to go to war. War is disgusting. War is Hell on Earth.

Solidarity is the only power we can exert. This the Fossil Fuel Billionaire Shareholders know and that is why they spend so much energy on dividing us.

Solidarity is non-ideological, it is grounded in humane care and the logic of empathy.

Solidarity is grounded in loving healthy empathetic relationships.

When we build a rational solidarity, a humane solidarity as persons who seek to meet one another's needs for optimal healthy human existence, their ability to divide us and remain dominant over and above us, at our expense, is over.

This is something that we can do, and indeed it is both our duty and moral obligation to all our children to make sure this is what we do, together.

Facing the Dominator System : Solidarity, Empathy, Partnership - Crafting Egalitarian ways of living well..

Even in the ruins of their homes, in the midst of a Genocide, they prepare and share food in solidarity.
~
Solidarity, humane solidarity across every variation of our cultures, our faiths, our economic status, our ethnicities is the path we need to walk, as persons, as peoples, as a species.

Solidarity requires empathy.

How would we feel is that was being done to us?

How would I feel if that was being done to me?

Solidarity in social action requires our best efforts of understanding vulnerability.

Solidarity in political action requires knowledge, rather than belief and effort through daily engagement and involvement.

Solidarity requires we examine what we have internalised of the culture that divides us in order to de-colonise our minds so that we can meet with minimal bias each others needs.

Solidarity requires we make an effort to understand that poverty is a weapon.

Solidarity requires we understand that our comfort must never come at a cost to others.

Solidarity requires we humanise ourselves, it requires that we confront every effort at dehumanising others.

Solidarity requires determination, vision and trust. We must trust ourselves to continue until the work is done. The work of solidarity is worth the effort, even if we fail from time to time.

For me, for some reason, the certainty of health as a reality, as a biological standard, optimal health of a species, or a habitat or a living environment is deeper than any sense of hope I have ever felt. That is where solidarity leads me. I stand in solidarity with life asa nurturant process. How is it for you?

Solidarity requires we self-care and work to reduce our rage to redirect our anger about the needless suffering towards active prevention and repair, and it requires we eschew lateral violence. Stop lashing out at each other in frustration...

Solidarity requires we confront Racism, Misogyny, Xenophobia, Ableism as curated, taught hatreds and we must understand that every form of bigotry that is weaponised to maintain the status quo of the Hierarchy of Wealth. Bigotry is unknown in all infants.

Solidarity requires that we get politically active, well beyond merely voting for choices others have made for us. We must learn the skills of shared deliberation and decision making, shared effort to implement and shared accountability.

Without solidarity across the grass roots, the Mad Bull of Hierarchy will continue to eat us, it will shit on us and we will not be able to turn that shit to compost for future nurturing of our grass roots into healthy landscapes.

And that is our evolutionary function - to nurture the shared commons of life.

Every other organism does so. We are not unique.

Resolving the problem of School Shootings.

I am appalled at the slaughter of children by children.

It is utterly unspeakable.

War is utterly unspeakable.

What is clear is that the adult world is wholly responsible, in both cases.

Therefore the adult world must be made accountable for all that harm, trauma, blood and guts, maiming, terror. The adults must confront the nature of the power system, which is based on competing powers, and how that afflicts governance and people's lives.....

It has to stop.

It cannot stand as inevitable.

The children are innocent.

The only way to resolve the problem of school shootings is this.

You cannot solve a problem one has created, using the same consciousness that led to that problem in the first place. The radical goes to the verifiable evidence, is ruthlessly honest, and identifies the root of the problem.

Do with it what you will, it changes nothing in terms of the quality and accuracy of this observation of a social power dynamic.

This video articulates the truth. 'A voice in the wilderness', but really it is 'a voice of the wilderness, the natural child'

"Do what you love, it's Your Gift to Universe"

Thank you for reading this blog. All we need to do is be really honest, responsive to the evidence we find, and ready to reassess when new evidence emerges. The rest is praxis.

Abuse : Origins, root causes, recovery and re-alingment with optimal human biological health

The resolution of the issue of abuse as a common behavioural dynamic lies not in punishment, rather it rests in altering the way our society as a whole relates to and treats children. And indeed, how it relates parenting, and how it supports healthy parenting. It is intrinsically linked to how power is mediated in social and material terms across our economic and political and judicial systems. It is inherently a matter of governance.

Of course, known serial abusers, those who cause intentional harm who operate without remorse in any sphere of human activity must be segregated, isolated from society at large, because they cannot be trusted to act otherwise. That goes without saying. It is a health and safety matter of extreme importance. Punishment is not really effective as a way to deal with this problem. Punishment does not prevent harm, because it always arrives after the harm has been caused. Punishment is always too late.

"The psychology of any given family, community or society is both revealed and perpetuated in how that family, community or society relates to and treats the children".

Chronic stress degrades all known biological systems, and leads to disease. Unresolved trauma leads directly to chronic stress, as does war, poverty and all forms of abuse.

These are not inevitables, nor are they unknowns.

They are all the result of choices made by adults.

Here is a detailed chart outlining the social behavioural characteristics of various societies, which was collated in the 70s.

Research since then into endocrine systems, autonomous systems, in utero development and psychology, trauma studies, inter-generational trauma behaviour patterning, history, anthropology, neuroscience, biochemistry, child development and psychopathology confirm the insights of this survey.

Researcher/writers such as Alice Miller, Judith Herman, David Chamberlain, Oliver James, Joseph Chilton Pearce, Carl Rogers, Derrick Jensen, Gabor Mate, Kitty Jones, Robert Zapolsky, David Smail and many, many others are great resources in this.

I URGE you to access the data, the evidence, and go through the works of the writers listed above if you are genuinely concerned about child abuse....

I say this because I want to help you, and all of us, to understand this dynamic so that we can work together to apprehend abusers, to prevent further abuse emerging as it does in such massive numbers and realign our social systems with optimal human biological health.

I am a Survivor of long term intentional child abuse.

I speak and write with some knowledge of this subject.

Both in terms of addressing my own abusive and destructive learned behaviors and my recovery from the trauma I endured for the best part of 20 years.

This blog is where I join the dots on all of this research by people who literally have saved my life and enabled me to return to a degree of optimal biological health.

At some time it will become a book, a website, an interactive mind map and a documentary.

I do this for myself, I do it for you and I do it for my great grand children and all their contemporaries.

Kindest regards

Corneilius

You could drop a comment too, if you felt the urge. Or not. I will moderate contributions, and block any that are abusive. For obvious reasons. Thank you for reading.
