Alan Alda, Mai Lai and Robert Sapolsky...

This lovely video of a walking chat between Alan Alda and Robert Zapolsky presents some very interesting insights, based on current proven research, that raise serious questions about behaviour, power, punishment and justice.. The Brain on Trial.

It's also about observing patterns across a population, and understanding that the patterns can never describe an individual with any degree of accuracy - that protocol must be capable of responding to each case, as it presents, and as the evidence provides.

One cannot say "all Americans...." or "all Russians'... or "all Muslims" .. or "all women".. or "all men" or "all psychopaths" etc etc with any degree of accuracy.

Such phrases always precede a caricature, which is a manipulative device...

I have read Robert Sapolksy's book "Behave : the biology of humans at our best and worst" which is a holistic review of all available evidence regarding the biological processes associated with behaviour, and in particular, with those where healthy self regulation is undeveloped, where sociality has few experiential neural networks to fire with, and instead the focus is on regulating others to meet one's perceived needs.
His assessment is that structure is largely genetic, and behaviour is lagely learned, and both are also affected by past generations experience, not least in epigenetic terms - our genetics are responsive to environment and experience.

Eskimos do not learn to carry fat, they learn to hunt and live, and heal and thrive...

That kind of core behavioural dynamic of hierarchies, using power over others, is learned.

As a behaviour, dominance over others is far from innate.

There are many bio-chemical and physiological dispositions that can underpin vulnerability to becoming more controlling, dispositions that start in pre birth conditions, or later on in any area where healthy development is undermined,  but invisible because it's a social norm, and that may well be partly a matter of how the inherited epigenetic changes  affected that particular child...  that and the  environment and the lives of long dead ancestors..

There is nothing innate about it. We are evolved to be social, connected, co-operative, creative... to thrive by living and working together..

We are not that well evolvoed for violence, because it undermines our health, even for the 'victors'.

The argument that  the Alpha Male is biologically mandated is a cultural construct, rather than a biological fact.

That kind of competitive predatory behaviour is learned largely through the sensory and the environmental experiential afforded the child, and as we know, that varys from family to family , as much as culture to culture...

If control and punishment are habitual, the child's body and mind can become automatic, unconscious, with a layer of justification and rationalisation crafted in the external world, as part of the controlling behavioiur set.

When a few people with these habituations gather and organise, and gain more power they will build an institution, a family, a hierarchy...  and seek to protect it, for the power, t

Experientially loving becomes automatic,  defenciveness and insecurity becomes automatic for the child exposed to love or insecurity.... that child will act out, and if that is misinterpreted, and the child is 'regulated' that deepens the child's alienation, anger and frustration.... if that child does not receive support to heal, then more regulation will deepen the wounds... add to that additional trauma potentials created by the systems of hierarchical violence and authority..

On a societal scale, this has huge implications, and it is by neccessity an exercise of compassion, informed by science, evidence, good health and common sense to deconstruct these processes, and disentangle our institutions from replicating or propogasting those patterns... as adults gifting the next generation of children, I see no finer work.

If the child does not learn loving self regulation, his or her brain will not create a neurology of loving self regulation - if then that child as an adult behaves in ways that cause harm we have to look at the past, to look at all the evidence, to then be able to decide how best to proceed, in terms of society and health and safety...

These are generalised outlines, and I would urge readers to go to Sapolksy's book, and his videos...

We dearly need some calm, evidence based assessments of behavioural issues, not least because the political ruling class are presenting that they are a behavioural problem, on all sides.... that fact that trolling is a standard politcial tactic in mainstream public discourse rather proves the point, elegantly.
Understand this : Politics is the struggle for power, Healthy Civil Governance is the careful and diligent administration of a community's shared resource(s) for the equity of the entire community.....

The accepted norm, the fundamental concept of international relations as materially the struggle for primacy among militarised states, who utilise war fare in pursuit of policy objectives absolutely afflicts a nations domestic governance, with bills, costs and losses that are all wholly avoidable.

That is psychopathy.

Institutionalised. Given a lick of paint, some gold plate and a few fancy bits of cloth and bling.

The obvious lies and caricatures of material reality that abound in various Governments justifications for wars, the talk of punishment, sanctions, 'humanitarian intervention' all speak to people whose ability to self regulate thjeir urge for power is undermined, aand whose goal is ever more power over a majority of people, at whatever cost, borne usually by the ordinary folk ..

It's nuts.

It must be diagnosed before there is any possibility of dealing with it..
. and the best way to deal with it is tio de-legitimise it wholly, and defund it within each social cultural institutional organisation unit at home - we in the UK deal with ours, those in Russia and anywhere else deal with theirs.

We have to stop allowing the justifications and accepted norms of international war fare be taken at face value, and let the victimised, the survivors lead our concerns and let prevention be our concern, as citizens and humane patriots/matriots/fraternities/sisterhoods... it is our money they are using to fund these wars.

It is a behavioural issue.
And that means that it is ultimately a resolveable situation.

Mai Lai - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Lai_Massacre
Mai Lai's happen in all wars. It's what happens when a military in theatre moves across a landscape.

People's homes become battle grounds.... Mai Lai's happen when artillery and missiles are launched at built up areas, no matter who is launching them.

For the majority of people, these wars are none of their business, they have no say, no power, no claim within these wars, they are wholly innocent.

The one's who make war must be made accountable by the innocent.

There is no other way.

"Do what you love, it's Your Gift to Universe"

Thank you for reading this blog. All we need to do is be really honest, responsive to the evidence we find, and ready to reassess when new evidence emerges. The rest is easy.

THE BIG QUESTION! IN or OUT? Sanders, The Illuminati, Obama, Clinton, Farage, Cameron and The Button

Sanders, The Illuminati, Obama, Clinton, Farage, Cameron, The Button and THE BIG QUESTION!

The Illuminati narrative is un-necessary for anyone who studies history, even as it is made.

There is a question that everyone ought to ask. It’s a two part question that goes to the heart of what we are facing today. The Illuminati Industry does not ask this question, in fact they avoid it like the plague.

Look and learn, as they say.

Ask Questions.

Seek evidence you can check. Ask more questions.

Never, ever accept someone’s opinion of the evidence, the actual evidence. Accept only the evidence.

“What’s your opinion on the political actions of Henry Kissinger?”

Someone offers me an opinion. I reply.

“Great, now where can I find the evidence of the outcomes of his political action. After all I am not going to base my assessment of his political actions on your opinion.”

We KNOW how bully systems operate.

We know the Statist system of Power has it's deepest roots in the dominant and dominating power establishment, local and global.

We KNOW that any population seeking a genuine participation in the exercise of Power so that justice is real and Governance is fair will be bribed, marginalised , undermined and then attacked.

We know those operations on the part of the Power Establishment will be sohopisticated, well resourced, will involve long and short term planning. It’s old news, old hat – anyone studying the classics in the 1600s, and their own history since William The Bastard arrived, would have drawn them to the same conclusion- indeed that awakening was a small part of the English Civil War. The bit that gets ignored.

The Illuminati narrative has so much 'fear' associated with it, so much shock and fascination, it is a distraction. It is a deliberate distraction. It IS exciting. In a I used to watch TV and that was exciting kinda way. Which is that it’s not. Exciting. It triggers.

It’s a trigger point for vulnerable, wounded, traumatised, bullied people who are just coping with it all, to various degrees, a deliberate trigger point.

These fuckers are cruel and sophisticated. We have to match and exceed that with love and willfulness. The willfulness is critical.

And it has to be evidence based.

Obama is part of the Bully Class, as is Clinton.

I hope all the Sanders voters vote for Sanders as an independent. I hope he and the Greens form an alliance. The Greens are a potent International lobby. He should connect the struggle in the US with all our struggles internationally.

When it comes to Obama, or Clinton we KNOW they are both NeoCons/neoliberals , dressed as Democrats, and they are willing to kill people to get their way. Lots of people. Entire populations.

It’s a pattern.

Hiroshima. Vietnam.

Indeed, the American Power Establishments basis for the 'treaties' with the local peoples (who lived there LONG before those Europeans became 'Americans') during the 1840s onwards was "You will kill some of us - we will kill ALL of you," and it was not said in rage, it was a cold, calculated policy. They had plans. Cold plans. Thought out. Well resourced. Long and short term. They still do.

It was wrong then, it is wrong now. It was a criminal act then, and it is criminal action now. We see it every day. Every time they open their mouths and spout obvious spin and lies we see it. We see it in the outcomes, in the faces and stories of the 100 million refugees from War currently 'displaced'.

Anyone who thinks anything has changed at the level of Power Establishments in that regard is naive. At least we are in the position of KNOWING IT. That is the start of our empowerment.

__

Thomas Jefferson...  ‘a founding father’ had this to say.

In 1807, Thomas Jefferson instructed his War Department that, should any Indians resist against America stealing Indian lands, the Indian resistance must be met with "the hatchet". Jefferson continued, "And...if ever we are constrained to lift the hatchet against any tribe, " he wrote, "we will never lay it down till that tribe is exterminated, or is driven beyond the Mississippi." Jefferson, the slave owner, continued, "in war, they will kill some of us; we shall destroy all of them". (Ibid)

3rd paragraph in.

Look and learn.

See the horror of what that policy meant to the human beings, the mothers, fathers, children, grand parents who were subject to that policy.

Obama, number 44.  He fits in, like a hand in a glove.

And the story of how the racism was crafted as a political device?

A total psy-ops operation! Sophisticated, manipulative, triggering. Carried out over time.

They crafted it as a way to unite indentured workers, menial labourers and slaves against the Native Peoples by the early colonists Power Establishment when at one stage they were outnumbered by the indentured workers, menial labourers and slaves and felt they were at risk if they united.....

So they published Racist pamphlets, pamphlets suggesting non-christians were inferior, that native peoples were savage, and lazy; lurid tabloid stories of atrocities; then they gave land parcels, small ones, a hectare or two, just on the edges of their colonies to the indentured workers, and labourers all of whom had been reading this material and hearing it from the pulpit - and hey allowed them to own a few slaves, not the kinds of numbers they had in their plantations, and some of those slaves, much closer to their ‘owners’ fought with the new land owners against native peoples.

The owners created a ‘belief’ through propaganda that the slaves were to be seen as inferior and the Native peoples to be feared as feral.  It was a hierarchy. The slaves were useful, the Natives were to be discarded. The labourers and indentured workers need to be integrated into the  plans of the Power Establishment.

And it worked a treat.

That's a cracker!

Howard Zinn details it quite clearly in his tome, "Voices of The Peoples History of the United States".

http://www.historyisaweapon.com/zinnapeopleshistory.html - the full text is now online open-source.

If that, all of the above was taught in our State School systems, if History was honest, racism would vanish in a generation.

Only the truth sets us free.

Only the truth.

Which brings me to the question……

THE BIG QUESTION!

The one I mentioned at the beginning of this polemic.

In what kinds Society or culture do we see rape and abuse of power, and associated violence, and social control and religiosity as a common experience?

In what kinds of Society or culture do we see more empathy and egalitarianism, justice and fairness, more autonomy?

This link is a chart outlining the facts. Check it.

www.violence.de/prescott/letters/Profiles_Peaceful_v_Violent.pdf
Everyone ought to KNOW this.

We live in a bully social power system, everything is polluted by the bullying.

And a key in all of that is the disruption of the child-mother bonding process that takes 4 years to complete and a life time to refine, and is 100% BIOLOGICALLY MANDATED as part of the picture of Optimal Human Biological Health for the entire species, as much as for each individual.

You SHOULD KNOW what this data means.. your neighbours, the bus driver, your local bar staff, they all should know this. All the folks working for the local council, they should be told.

It means we are human beings born into a social power situation that is far from the biological mandate, and in a really, really baaad diseased pathological and utterly cruel way. Because so much of it is intentional, volitional,  the result of clearly conscious choices to rationalise the use of extreme violence. Repeatedly.

What it means for me is this :

I am SO GLAD I am not like that system, and that I have been able to heal enough of my wounds to know this.

I don't fit in. I never will. I never did. I TRIED. Dear God that does not exist, how I tried.

Now, I wouldn't want to.

Yuk! It’s appalling, it’s inhumane, it’s utterly abusive, it’s a pathology.

I cannot vote for 'choices' ring fenced by that fact. They WOULD press that button. They do drop bombs on totally innocent people.

I can't. It's way to ugly.

It's SO disempowering as it stands, wherever we live, to vote and then see them do whatever they want in ways that you cannot inform, check, balance, or mediate in any meaningful way, and as the majority of 'candidates' are probably the last people who ought to be given any power, (barring a psyche check) it's naive of voters to criticise me and say I must accept what they have voted for.

At the same time, I understand why people break and become conditioned to 'fit in'; they are being bullied on so many levels, it's not entirely their fault or responsibility and I say this - they are part of what perpetuates the bully system, I say this not to blame them, not to chastise them, just to suggest that our job is to help them FEEL the truth of that.

Feel it, and fit in; if that is the choice, then that is the choice. There's always the possibility of other choices. It's in the open.. let it all hang out!

And if those that do fit in call me failure, a drop out, a misfit, then yes all of that is true. I am proud of it. I fail to fit it. I chose to drop out. It's my human right to be a misfit. It's a health issue.

To me everyone arguing in/out in Britain repeating the arguments published in the media, and across the inter-webbery, picking a side, shouting, ranting and typing, copying and pasting, liking and hating, is fitting in. Especially the ones who think they are anti-establishment. Lolz.

------

Let's put it all in perspective :  Arrest Tony Blair and the entire command chain associated with Foreign Military 'operations' in the Middle East is NOT fitting in.That IS what NEEDS to happen. No question.

That would be both Just and fitting.

There's a lot of us who do not fit in.We feel justice in our bones, and we cannot see it being met.

We need everyone to FEEL this, and then, in time, when we have the numbers, to act on it. We cannot force this. We can only make it clear.

We have to talk to those caught up in it. Satirise and hack the Power systems.

We must organise, learn, educate, connect and be very patient - professionally patient with people who were like I was 30 years ago, 20 years ago - conditioned. I never forget that. I watched Dallas, ffs!

When bullies no longer fit in and cannot find a place within emerging  Structures of Governance and Jurisprudence, Commerce, Health and Entertainment, Faith, and our own streets and homes, then we will have made some headway.

Hilary Clinton, a Feminist Icon?

The 'progress' of equality?

Anyone who can maintain that concept and vote for it is in deep, deep, deeeeeeep, deeep delusion.

And no, I have not mentioned Nigel Farage. Is he worth mentioning?

*If you like this post, if you found the themes resonant, if you agree in part, would you be kind enough to let others know about it? I would really appreciate an enlarged audience, as that would be encouraging more beautiful willfulness and critical thinking and analyses.

You could drop a comment too, if you felt the urge. Or not.

I will moderate contributions, and block any that are abusive.  For obvious reasons.

One generation is all it would take... get stuck in!

ANY Family, Community or Society that does NOT care for the most vulnerable within it's domain is dysfunctional. Those that engender shituations where more people are made vulnerable through ideological, military and economic war are pathological.

The concept that democratic electorates should be satisfied and happy to merely vote and let others do the work of Governance and policy decision making is out of touch, out of date and, to be frank it breeds subservience and irresponsibility.

We all bleed red, we all cry tears of salty water, we all experience loving kindness and we suffer abuse in pretty much the same way.

We are human, first and foremost.

One generation is all it would take.

If History was taught honestly, humanely, with the children encouraged to do their own research and then share it and discuss it and write it up in in schools, the BNP/EDL and ISIS/Wahabists could not exist.

Nor would the far right or the ideological left nor the various factions within which anger and rage is the dominant currency have such a support base. If critical thinking was encouraged rather than opposed in schools, the lies and propaganda of any political power base would be seen as the lies they are, and resisted.

Simples.

One generation is all it would take.

Healthy behaviour is always realistic, and abuse is always idealistic, in as much as there is a biological mandate towards optimal human biological health and behaviour, and this mandate is more real than any invented social system that attempts to impose it's concept of what should be, through coercion and indoctrination, through punishment and reward - be it religious, ideological or any other form -  or any other method to undermine, disrupt and replace the biological mandate of optimal human biological health and behaviour.

There is a war being perpetrated by Power Establishments against any and all people who no longer accept the 'right' of 'might' and it includes spreading discord between people, between the genders, between the young and the elderly, between the different faiths. Conspiracy theories, hatred of the Jews as 'controllers' of the banking system (a lie), hatred of Muslim people, hatred of LGBTi, escalating violence at home and abroad are all planks of this war.

There is no war against white people by brown people, nor is there a war against black, brown or any other colour by white people. There is no 'clash of civilisations' as Tony Blair claims.

Study history, see the patterns, study predatory psychopathy, see the patterns and study optimal human biological health and see the patterns. Break free of your own social conditioning. Liberate yourself from mental slavery!

Become fully human, fully humane.

Check out the Power Inquiry folks, and examine the detail of what genuine devolution of power means - it means taking up the shared responsibility of decision making, policy formulation and oversight -- which means getting down into the evidence, the data and working with others to suss out what is most beneficial to the community as a whole - business, community and social welfare alike... it means challenging those in our communities who are ideologically bound, angry, abuse with the evidence, face to face, it means understanding what needs and insecurities lie behind those fears, and offering ways to meet those needs, allay those insecurities.

£10 million grifter, enabled Brexit.

Deterrent Claim Debunked. Socratic Method. It works.

1. Who had the first Nuclear Bombs?

2. Who used them, twice, on massive civilian populations, when nobody else had them?

3. Who were their declared 'enemies' after WWII? Were the detonations of the two bombs over Hirioshima and Nagasaki a 'demonstration' of who had the ultimate power, and the willingness to use it?

4. Did the declared enemies have any Nuclear Bombs?

5. Did they build their own bombs as a deterrent against the already existing bombs because they were declared enemies of the State that had the Bomb and they believed that the bombers would use them again, as the threat implied?

6. The deterrent is to deter the original threatener.

The rest is lies and hyperbole.

That aside, the possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction is a question of insane power politics trumping common sense and humanity. On all sides.

Peace is more, much more than the absence of War!

Don't get me wrong,

All the States that operate Hierarchical systems of organised politically motivated violence are the result of historical psychopathic behaviour, whose origins in violence are beyond doubt, which are re-created and managed by psychopaths, sociopaths and their servants, run on a day to day basis by carefully conditioned ‘citizens, all of this paid for by tax payers under coercion.

David Cameron's evasive answer to an honest question is illustrative.

The recent reports on the dealings between Saudi Arabia and The UK Government regarding mutual support for each others election to the UN Human Rights Commission, and the case of Ali Mohammed al-Nim, who was arrested at age 14, for making a pro-democracy protest in Saudi Arabia, and who is now 17, in jail and has been sentenced to being beheaded and then crucified, and David Camerons evasive answering to the question put to him by Jon Snow, "Why did you make this horrid deal with Saudi Arabia?" is illustrative.

That Cameron blurted out an unsubstantiated claim that Saudi Intelligence about a 'bomb flying over the UK' and that Saudi intelligence helps UK Security is appalling, devious and obscene.

He must be put to the test, and he must present the evidence for his claim. Even if it turns out to be true, the fact remains - the deal made to infiltrate the Saudi Regime into the UN Human Rights Commission, given their record and intransigence on Human Rights is shameful and repugnant, and brings the British Government and all it's offices into disrepute.

Is this really acceptable in the 21st Century?

Corbyn says, as did the Power Inquiry, and as many, many millions of people do, that the electorate and party membership is ready to mature our political activism and engagement, that the grass roots wants to step up to the plate and get stuck in, examine the data, the evidence, craft policy, and maintain oversight of how policy is being implemented - rather than leave it to a self selecting minority of whom we cannot be assured that they have all our best interests at heart, be it the people, our children or our business activities.

One generation is all it would take, just a matter of 30 years.

Be part of that generation. I am part of that generation. We have nothing to lose and so much to gain by engaging with all our abilities, our heart and passion.
