Men who organise and participate in mass violence rarely heal.
The Peace Movement in Northern Ireland was driven by women.
The Troubles – or the Northern Ireland conflict – was an ethno-nationalist conflict which began in the late 1960s and is generally accepted as having ended with the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.
Fuelled by historical events, the conflict was largely political and sectarian with the main point of contention being the constitutional status of Northern Ireland. Unionists or loyalists – who were mostly Protestant – wanted to remain a part of the UK however the nationalists/republicans – who were mainly Catholic – sought a united Ireland. 3,532 people were killed during the conflict, with approximately 50,000 total casualties over the three decades.
Women from all walks of life in Northern Ireland, in particular, played a vital role in the peace process and continued this cross-community dialogue long after the Good Friday Agreement was signed. They did everything from supporting victims of sectarian violence and victims’ families, to lobbying politicians and organising mass protests.

Ancient history tells us it was Cults of Wealth-as-Power which institutionalised Patriarchy to preserve and control wealth through male lineage dynastic inheritance.It was not agriculture that did this. It was not the genetics of 'Tribalism' nor was it the genetics of Alpha Male that did this because we know now that the human DNA contains no genes here dictating 'Tribalism' or Alpha Male violence.
Patriarchy is cult belief system, which curates misogyny to divide the exploited, traumatised populations.
If European and American education systems eradicated anti-Semitism and Islamophobia, there would be no place for Zionist Colonial Israel to sit at the table.
If European and American education systems eradicated Misogyny there would be no place for Alpha Males to sit at the table.
If European and American education systems eradicated Patriarchy, there would be no place for Wealth-as-Power to sit at the table as a dominating force in our society.
If European and American education systems truly honoured all our children and protected them from all avoidable harm.... what would our culture look like?

We need Matrianarchy and Matriots to emerge, with men as allies. Men who have de-colonised from Patriarchy and Misogyny. Women who have de-colonised from Patriarchy and Misogyny. Adults who protect the children and their future, their personhood and their shared environment, because the adults in their lives did the same for them, generation after generation. That is what true sustainability means.
This is critical for humanity as a whole.
Meeting the natural expectations of all our children, from the womb to adulthood, is the essence of a healthy human society, in every diverse form imaginable, in every language ever spoken.
